Data Entry Clerk

Under general supervision the position is responsible for maintaining accurate records related to rabies registration and licensing at Will County Animal Protection Services (WCAPS). Receives and verifies rabies certificates and related forms from local veterinary clinics, collaborates with staff and veterinary clinics to ensure complete and accurate documentation and enters rabies tag registration and licensing information into WCAPS’s database system. Success in this role requires strong attention to detail, confidentiality, organizational skills, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Keeps rabies registration records precise and up to date to help fulfill the goals of WCAPS of supporting and serving pet owners, residents, and animals in Will County. Reports directly to the department Operations Manager.
