About Us:
The National Animal Care & Control Association (NACA) is seeking an organized and detail-oriented professional to manage operational programs crucial to our mission and vision. This remote position plays a vital role in supporting active members of the organization and ensuring success for both internal and external stakeholders.
General Description
The Programs and Member Engagement Manager is a multifaceted position designed to assist organization leadership in all programs and actively engage members participating in these programs.
Essential Job Functions
- Assist organization leadership in the operation of all current NACA programs
- Manage logistics for all in-person training opportunities including recruitment, engagement and management of all NACA approved content facilitators
- Work with partner organizations and internal stakeholders to manage NACA virtual content including training opportunities and continued education opportunities (webinars)
- Work alongside state level conference organizers to manage available NACA content and scheduling
- Assist with communication on available NACA training opportunities
- Manage current NACA training platforms including the learning management system and NACA app
- Manage data entry for NACA members including continuing education units and operational statistics
- Present NACA materials on behalf of the organization at state level conferences, virtual webinars and pre-recorded NACA training platforms (some travel may be required based on hiring location)
- Manage volunteers assisting with NACA programs
- Enhance the member experience through active engagement with NACA members both virtually and with in-person opportunities such as conferences and trainings
- Manage NACA project timelines
- Other duties as assigned by the CEO/COO
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Bachelor’s Degree or 5+ years animal welfare experience (animal control experience preferred)
- Training experience with large groups of students (classroom, conference, etc.)
- Strong organizational skills and project management skills
- Ability to frequently travel domestically for member engagement and training
- PC proficiency including word processing, spreadsheets, databases and creation of presentation materials
- Must have internet access
Minimum Requirements
PHYSICAL SKILLS:
- Ability to communicate effectively using verbal, written and visual communication
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS OR REGISTRATIONS:
- Must possess a valid driver's license in their resident state
