Are you a compassionate, skilled veterinarian with a heart for helping animals in need? Spokane County Regional Animal Protection Service (SCRAPS) is seeking a full-time Shelter Veterinarian to join our dedicated team.   Applications will be reviewed upon receipt and the position will be open until filled.

Your Role

As our Shelter Veterinarian, you will:

• Provide medical examinations, diagnostics, and treatments for shelter animals

• Perform spay/neuter surgeries and other necessary procedures

• Oversee preventive care programs, including vaccinations and parasite control

• Collaborate with shelter staff to ensure the highest standards of animal welfare

• Educate staff, volunteers, and the community on animal health and wellness

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)

• Current Washington State veterinary license (or ability to obtain)

• Compassion, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset
