Hiring range: $133,360.56 to $203,851.44

Oklahoma City is the 20th largest city in the nation and serves approximately 702,767 residents in a four (4) county, 621 square mile area. Twenty-two (22) City departments provide a wide array of municipal services and programs.
The new Assistant Director will assist the Development Services Director with the daily oversight of department's operations, to include a budget of $23,635,610 and 190 represented and non-represented employees within the divisions of Development Center, Code Enforcement, and Animal Welfare.
Candidates shall have a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Finance, or a closely related field, along with at least five (5) five years' progressively responsible experience in public sector management with an organization of similar size or complexity as the City of Oklahoma City. Possession of International Code Council (ICC) certification is preferred.
