Want to work for a progressive, effective, and innovative lifesaving animal shelter caring for nearly 10,000 animals a year?
Join our team at the Nevada Humane Society as a Foster Manager at our Reno Campus. Pay starting at: $60k per year.
The Foster Manager will be responsible for the overall care and wellbeing of animals going in and out of foster, for ensuring that animals participating in our Foster Program are placed into and returned from foster appropriately, for ensuring the foster parents participating in our foster program are supported, and for the management of the Foster Team across all Nevada Humane Society Campuses. Additionally, the Foster Manager and Volunteer Manager will work together closely to ensure workflow between these two key programs is coordinated. The Foster Manager is accountable for both getting animals into foster homes quickly to reduce on-site length of stay as well as making them available for adoption as soon as possible, dictated by the care needed for each animal, to keep the program moving efficiently and avoiding any delay to permanency.
We are proud to be a high save organization and are looking for individuals who enjoy working with people as much as working with animals. Help us care for our animal population daily and match families with a new best friend.
